Shields +1 Armour and the Parry save only with a hand weapon. FAQ: Parry never works with spears, halberds, great weapons, or magic weapons. Full Plate & Mount Bonuses Full Plate is top-tier. Mount and barding rules clarified ⚒️ Weapon Basics Hand Weapons Great with shields for Parry. Spears Warhammer spears aren’t realistic — they don’t stop cavalry or extend reach.
