They are not taken from in-game stat cards or the wiki. Speed vs altitude graphs: each plane’s top speed at every 1,000 m comes from its performance file. The supercharger heights come from the engine’s compressor settings in its flight model. Stall, turn and power tables: worked out from each plane’s flight model, using its weight, wing area, lift, drag and engine power. The tables assume sea level (or the altitude shown), a clean configuration and 30% fuel. These are estimates of how the game models the plane, not real-world test results. Bomb and cannon vs armor tables: armor thickness comes from each vehicle’s damage model. Penetration of the 20 mm Hispano ground belt (AP-T, SAPI, HEI) is calculated from the shell data in the game files. The 500 lb bomb figures come from its explosive filler and the game’s blast and penetration tables. Angles are estimated from the strafing pass, so the effective armor values are approximate. B-25J and Pe-8 tables: the per-hit fire chance for fuel tanks, oil coolers and engines comes from each bomber’s damage model, multiplied by each shell’s fire multiplier. How much damage a single 20 mm hit does isn’t in the files, so these percentages are estimates for a typical hit. #warthunder #warthundergameplay #gaming #gameplay #nocommentary #gameplaynocommentary
