The storm that trapped drivers in flooded washes in Phoenix and forced evacuations along Oak Creek in Sedona isn't done. On Sunday night the San Juan River in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, was forecast to crest near 22 feet, above the 1911 flood that wiped out much of the town, and this week the same storm system heads east across more than 30 states.
In this report: what happened in Sedona, Phoenix, Tucson and the Verde Valley, the flood threat in Pagosa Springs, and a day-by-day look at where the storm goes next: severe storms in the Plains on Monday (Dallas, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Wichita, Kansas City), the South on Election Day, the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys on Wednesday, and rain along the I-95 corridor Thursday and Friday.
