Ichikawa City Zoo Punch Injured Monkey

📝 Video Description (English) [Rain, Wind, and the Reality of the Troop: Punch-kun’s Energy & the Ordeal of an Injured Friend] April 10, 2026 (Friday). It was a harsh day with rain from the morning and strong winds. Despite the weather, Punch-kun was in high spirits all day! His unwavering energy truly cheered me up. However, I witnessed a heartbreaking incident today. An injured monkey was attacked by others in the troop. I observed two separate attacks. The first one, which I managed to capture on film, involved another monkey slamming into its back and pinning it down. You can hear the screams. The second was a definitive attack, after which the injured monkey retreated to the backyard, crying out. It was a stark reminder of the harsh reality of living in a troop. Despite these worrying incidents, there is some good news: the injured monkey still has a strong appetite and is able to eat well on his own. The zookeepers are also providing special care, such as gently scattering food near him so he can eat without struggle. While life in the troop can be harsh, he is supported by these kind actions. I truly hope he can get through each day safely and make a full recovery as soon as possible. 🎥 Highlights of the Day: Punch-kun in the Rain: His sitting posture is incredibly cute! Don't miss the shot of him looking straight at the camera in the rain. Atomaru’s Determination: Eating alone persistently despite the downpour. His focus is amazing. Akira’s Leap: Following yesterday’s performance, Akira showed off another brilliant jump in the same spot! Lunch & Snack Time: Heartwarming moments with the zookeepers that always bring out the best expressions. ⚠️ Regarding Unauthorized Re-uploads: We are currently facing a serious issue with unauthorized re-uploads across YouTube, X, and TikTok. To protect the integrity of my work, I have placed a watermark in the lower-center of the video. I appreciate your understanding. I will continue to share the authentic lives of Punch-kun and his friends. Please Like, Comment, and Subscribe to support the channel! ✨ Stay tuned!
