Fujikina NYC 2026 – Real Images, Real Community, and No AI Talk

► Read the full article on CineD: https://www.cined.com/fujifilm-fujiki... FUJIFILM invited me to Fujikina NYC 2026, a three-day photography festival on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. For once, I had no shoot, no interviews and no schedule. I just walked around with a camera and took it all in. For a $10 ticket, visitors got access to talks, workshops, exhibitions and photowalks in nine venues. I was very impressed by Danish street photographer Jonas Rask, who is a medical doctor in his day job. On Saturday, the festival closed an entire street for a street fair, and at the FUJIFILM Brand House, visitors could borrow FUJIFILM cameras and lenses free of charge. Partners such as the International Center of Photography (ICP) and World Press Photo brought exhibitions about some of the most urgent social issues of our time. And in three days, I did not hear the word AI once. This was a festival about real images, real connections and real community, and it made me want to go out and shoot again.
