Cape Breton Nova Scotia Overlanding: Lake Camping, Twig Stove Coffee, Fishing, Van Life Dog & Puppy

In the tenth episode of my overlanding tour of Nova Scotia, we spend the day at a beautiful backroad camp spot by a lake on Cape Breton Island. I make coffee on the twig stove and explore the surrounding area with the dogs on my newly improved "dog team" leash setup. After a delicious dinner (an overlanding favorite) I try my luck fishing from shore. Zora, puppy Akiani, and I took off from Cumberland County to head for North Cape Breton!! I'll be taking my time driving off road trails through the Appalachian mountains and seeing what this province has to offer a wilderness traveller as we live in my 4Runner and seek out wild places to park on lakesides and beaches. With my canoe, I hope to be able to supplement our diet with delicious wild trout. Along the way we're going trail running and hiking, and when we finally reach the North Cape, I'm planning a multi day backpacking trip of the unfinished Seawall Trail!
