2026 Peregrine Falcon Chick Banding

(Audio begins at 5:25) Avian Biologist Mickayla Johnston and Biologist Emerita Chris Martin lead the annual Peregrine Falcon chick banding at the Brady Sullivan Tower in Manchester. Peregrines have been nesting at this site for over a quarter of a century. This year, five eggs were laid but only one (affectionately named Madison after Mount Madison by NH elementary school students) hatched. The remaining eggs will be tested for the presence of contaminants.
