Superb Loch Etive wild camp in a hot tent amidst snow covered mountains. Fishing a bit less superb🙂

A fabulous winter wild camp in the Loch Etive wilderness. Clear skies and snow capped mountains surround my tent and provide a great background to my fishing. A hot tent stove is a fantastic luxury in such conditions and certainly keeps me toasty warm. Shame about the fishing though - only a handful of smallish spurdogs despite my best efforts... I've been asked about my overnight mooring setup a few times and wrote up some notes on how I do it, which you can find at https://corkwing.co.uk/boat-fishing/s.... I haven't done any YT videos specifically on mooring but my notes link to one video with more info and I think there are one or two others where I also show the technique. It works pretty well but I'd definitely recommend a bit of practice before relying on it overnight. All at your own risk of course, so only do something you're comfortable with!!
