Hee Haw Clogging Champions Steele Family Cloggers 1985-1989 clogging dance

The steel family cloggers are a group of amazing cloggers from Salt Lake City, Utah/Roy Utah, who were national champions in the 1980s. Undefeated for nearly 5 years they appeared on Hee haw from 1985 to 1989. Here are five 30 second clips provided to me by Hee Haw. The television show Hee Haw was influential in elevating clogging to a higher level art form meaning taking it from a folk dance or dance of the people to a technique driven dance style. Charlie McCoy did all of the original music for these dances. Originally the 1985 episode we appeared on was to the song Oklahoma and he created an original song called Boil that Okrah at Home. Charlie McCoy is one of the most talented country music composers and harmonica players from the 70s and 80s. Comment below let me know your thoughts about these dances.
