The search for target species on unknown waters is always an exciting challenge as the angler enters the unknown. I had heard of Perch being caught from one of my local club waters so decided to give it a try on a February morning session. Using my trusted Derent Valley 11ft rod and ‪@ShimanoTribal‬ Stradic Reel and ‪@KorumFishing‬ products I targeted likely perch holding spots with @WillyWormsUK lobworms and supermarket prawns glugged with Munch Baits liquidised into my favourite perch feeding mix. This video also contains unseen Perch catch footage from past sessions on waters such as Framfield Fishery and Alderwood Ponds, both in Sussex. I have never seen so many Robins in one place who of course kept me company all morning with the loss of a few maggots. I managed to film a couple on camera.
