Among its best-known legends is that of a mysterious woman in black, said to have appeared within the castle after a tragic story from its past. Over time, sightings and retellings transformed her into one of the figures most closely associated with the castle’s darker folklore. Tonight’s story takes inspiration from that legend, but follows a path of its own. A visitor arrives at Bojnice carrying an unusual antique key bought the previous day. During her tour of the castle, she crosses a threshold and gradually realizes that the rooms around her are no longer quite the ones she entered. Somewhere inside this altered version of the castle, a woman dressed in black is moving through the same corridors, searching for something she has been unable to find. Through candlelit chambers, old stairways and rooms shaped by centuries of memory, the two journeys slowly begin to intersect. An atmospheric sleep story about time, memory, compassion, and a door that has remained closed for far too long.
