Those are good things to count. But very few people go from finding a church online to obeying the gospel in one step, so if those are the only numbers we watch, we'll decide the work isn't paying off before it's had time to. In this video I walk through what the parable of the sower (Luke 8) and 1 Corinthians 3 teach about measuring the work. Then I give you four plain questions to ask anybody you're paying to help with online outreach, us included: 1. What did you actually do this month? 2. How many people in our area did it reach? 3. When somebody reached out, what happened? 4. Can we walk away if it isn't working?
