Which NATO Country has the Best Fighter Jets

NATO has some of the most capable air forces on the planet, but they don't all fly the same jets, and they certainly don't all fly equal ones. So which country actually comes out on top? In this video, we rank 11 of the most important fighter jets in the alliance, then look past the aircraft to the nations behind them. Who designs the best jets? Who buys them? Who still flies them, and who has already retired them? We judge each jet on combat capability, real-world combat record, how widely it's used across NATO, and how practical it is to keep in the air. Along the way, we look at how countries make very different choices: building their own jets, sharing programs, or buying from allies.
