Back in the Lost City again. I actually intended to do Chapter 2 of Soggy Spud Chronicles, but the 2nd stage of that was so horrible I had to quit, so here we are. There's a bunch of new changes, and the 1st is an entirely new plant, Cotton-Cloud Bomb! It costs 150 sun with a 20 second recharge, and you can put it on top of plants too. Still can't plant on the dirt. When planted, it explodes and creates mist in a 3x3 area, which does 15 damage per second to every Zombie inside of it. It lasts for 50 seconds total, and I think you can stack up multiple patches of mist. Endurian also got a buff, his Sun cost is increased to 125 though. His toughness was raised from 3000 to 4000, which is the same as a Wall-Nut. His main weakness was toughness, so that helps. He does 20 damage per hit to Zombies eating him, and when fed plant food, he does 45 per hit instead besides gaining armor. In vanilla I believe it does 30 damage per hit with plant food, so that's a big buff. To compensate, his recharge is increased from 15 to 20 seconds.
For the Zombies, I don't think Excavator Zombie was changed at all. He still blocks straight projectiles and digs up your stuff, but the main change is Lost Pilot Zombie, specifically how he spawns. Instead of spawning randomly from ambushes, he now spawns using the new dirt pile mechanic I talked about last video. Basically when the Zombies walk over it enough to reveal it, instead of a Sun Relic, there's a chance for a Walkie-talkie to be under the dirt. After a few seconds, Zomboss laighs and a plane flies overhead, which then spawns about 4 Lost Pilot Zombies in random spots across the lawn. This does mean there's a limit to how many can spawn in a level, but they usually tend to all go off at once one after the other towards the earlier part of the level, which can lead to them stacking up and swarming you. It's mainly that you won't see them at all in the latter half of a level. I'm sure it will get a lot worse later on when Gargantuars start appearing.
