Denny Hamlin Has Kyle Larson-Talladega Theory

On Actions Detrimental, Denny Hamlin, 73 points behind Kyle Larson in the NASCAR Cup Series Chase, backed NASCAR's ruling that Kyle Larson didn't go below the double yellow line in the YellaWood 500. But he said Kyle Larson's No. 5 "made a move that forced" Austin Hill below the line on the final lap, while Austin Hill was going for his first Cup win. Denny Hamlin called NASCAR's officiating "too wishy-washy for my taste" and pitched his own fix. This video breaks down the Austin Hill move, what NASCAR's forcing rule says, and why Denny Hamlin wants the yellow line gone.
