ZITO

ZITO - a name that grew out of “Ruizito”, the nickname his family calls him, and became something of its own. His sound is deeply rooted in funk, but he doesn’t like to keep it in one box. Afro-funk, batida, vogue beats, Gqom and heavy bass all find their way into the mix, with funk always somewhere in the DNA. For ZITO, music is about connection, freedom and being unapologetically yourself. His Portuguese roots are part of what shapes his sound - taking what feels familiar and pushing it somewhere new. After playing in Zurich and Lisbon, ZITO is slowly taking that energy further, one set at a time.
