When a plushie prototype comes out wrong, the hard part isn't seeing the problem. It's knowing what to change on the paper to fix it. In this video I'm drafting the body for the mouse plushie from a flat silhouette, using a cross-section drawing to get measurements the front and side views can't give you. We'll cover the belly gusset, integrating the legs into the body piece, comparing seam lengths, and the slash-and-spread method for adding length without distorting the shape.
