My First KLX300 Motocamping Overnight | Reedy Creek

My first real motocamping overnight on the KLX300. After the Green Swamp shakedown, it was time to load up the bike and actually spend a night in the woods. I headed for Reedy Creek, set up camp, cooked dinner, spent a quiet night under the stars, and explored a little more the next morning before heading home. The weather almost killed the trip before it started—and although it stayed dry while I was camping, it eventually caught up with me on the ride home. I also got another real-world fuel economy number with the KLX loaded for camping: 74 miles between fill-ups on 1.63 gallons, or 45.4 mpg.
