First - don’t laugh at my skills. I never play on mobile, ever. It shows. Anyway, OpenBOR has had an Android port for years, but it has admittedly always been somewhat cobbled together. I never had anything to do with it because, frankly, I don’t care about ports. However, as part of a broader initiative to better support original and commercial projects, I’ve elected to step in and rework the Android port myself. My goal is to make the experience as seamless as possible for creators and players alike. Part of that effort is removing the game picker. No more opening the engine like some sort of emulator and choosing from packs dumped into a folder. No more fiddling with settings and hoping Android doesn't say no. Each game is a game - signed, fully self-contained, and distributed as its own legitimate APK. Tap it and play. Here we’re testing the amazing Streets of Rage X by Kratus. Although I can’t play with touch controls to save my life, the game itself runs silky smooth and requires no shenanigans to fire up. There is no download because this is not my game to distribute. Don’t ask - the answer is no. Kratus will release it at his discretion on the updated engine.
