PORSCHE 997 TURBO MAJOR SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE PART 4; CAMSHAFT INSTALLATION AND ENGINE TIMING

Part 4 outlines the critical installation procedure taken to install and time the camshafts in relation to the crankshaft. It is noted that true TDC1 and TDC4 must be identified and marked to properly time cylinder banks 1 and 2. New hexagon and fillister screws are used for cam sprockets, as well as new sealing rings for chain tensioners.
