He once had land, a wife, a child, and a plan to build a better future. He sold his small piece of land hoping to use the money as capital for a business. But before starting that project, he entered a bar. He told himself he would have just one beer. One became two… then many. With money in his pocket, alcohol changed his focus. What happened next changed his life forever. He says the woman suddenly bit him on the mouth. He lost consciousness, went into a coma, and later woke up in hospital. The money he had planned to invest was gone. After returning home, his life became even more difficult. His wife eventually left with their child, and today he survives by digging and carrying sand and doing other casual jobs. We followed him through the narrow passage he uses every day and entered the place he now calls home.
