This drive begins in Aventura along Biscayne Boulevard before turning west onto Miami Gardens Drive and working through a series of turns onto West Dixie Highway, NE 213th Street, and NE 26th Avenue. From there the route crosses into Hallandale Beach, winding through a grid of SW and NW numbered avenues before continuing north into Hollywood along 26th Avenue and Taft Street. The drive continues west through Park Road and US Highway 441, briefly detouring onto Seminole Way before rejoining 441 south to Stirling Road. From there the route heads into Davie via Davie Road and Griffin Road, then into Cooper City along South Flamingo Road before turning east on Sheridan Street and University Drive back through Hollywood. The return leg continues along Pembroke Road and US Highway 441 south, then Miami Gardens Drive east, closing the loop back onto Biscayne Boulevard into Aventura. The drive opens under heavy cloud cover with only brief glimpses of sun through the clouds, gradually clearing into a bright blue sky with scattered clouds through the middle and return stretch.
