On this episode of My Classic Car, we're at Jay Leno's shop in California to check out a couple serious sleepers. The 1989 Ford Shogun is a powerful little road rocket, but looks like a want-to-be racer. Created by builders Chuck Beck and Nick TItus, this insanely modified mid-engine Ford Fiesta packs a 220 HP Taurus SHO V6 inside its hatch. Only 6 of these babies were ever sold, making it as rare as it is fast. So naturally we had to burn up the streets of LA with it. Then we take a closer look at one of Jay’s most nostalgic cars; his dad’s 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. This one year only 7 Litre luxury muscle machine now boasts a high-performance 511 cu.in. Roush racing engine. We’ve been following Jay’s restoration of this sleeping beauty for a while, and in this show we finally get to unleash its power on the road! 0:00 - Intro 1:23 – 1989 Ford Shogun Interview 5:38 – 1989 Ford Shogun Drive 7:45 – 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 with 7 L Interview 11:33 – 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 with 7 L Drive #MyClassicCar #ClassicCar #DennisGage #JayLeno #JayLenosGarage #Leno #CelebrityCar #sleepercar #1989FordShogun #FordFestivaShogun #FordFiestaShogun #SHO #rareracer #Galaxie500 #FordGalaxie S15E02
