Goose Hunting | 6-Man Limit in Cut Corn The geese started coming fast, and things got chaotic in a hurry. We’re back for another early season goose hunt, and this time we’re trying something different hunting out of A-frames instead of our usual layout blinds. The birds gave us plenty of opportunities, but the change in setup created a whole new challenge for Chief. He struggled with breaking early in the hunt, which made for a few frustrating moments, but by the end of the morning we started getting things back under control. Between geese working the spread, birds coming from every direction, a few missed opportunities, and plenty of dog work, this turned into one heck of an early season goose hunt. After the hunt, I break down what happened with Chief, what I think caused the issues, and how we’re working through it as the season gets rolling.
