We take a trip leaving Dunaskin station at the Doon Valley Railway on a 2 and a half miles down the farm crossing. Further on, the track to the valley to Minnivey the Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group's former site at Minnivey Colliery from 1980 to 2002. in 2005 the council funding was withdrawn and the Scottish Industrial Railway Centre moved to Dunaskin near Waterside present day opens every Sunday summer season.
