Pikmin 1² Co-op W/ My Son | Longplay series - part 5 - we're cookin now! (no commentary)

Greetings fellow wanderers, and welcome to Wandering Gamers Tavern! My name is Rowan, Keeper of Lost Quests and I am joined by my son Kai, Drifter of the Tides! Today we will be continuing our Pikmin coop adventure and drawing near to the end of the main story. Day 13 We start today landing back in The Forest Navel. I grab a few Pikmin and head over to retrieve the Libra while Kai grabs Pikmin of his own and gets ready to fight. Kai takes down some baddies and I swap out my blue Pikmin for red before joining him. Once I get there he informs me we'll need bombs but before we worry about that we take on the Puffstool which we make short work of and out pops an Omega Stabilizer! Kai watches it out of the zone and knowing the path back home is safe we decide to break off and look for bomb rocks. Once we get through the rock wall I meet Kai inside where he is already taking on the Beady Long Legs. A bit of a strange fight that I didn't fully understand but with persistent consistency we manage to fell the mighty foe and reveal a Guard Satellite! On the way back we pick up as many Pikmin as we can and say farewell to The Forest Navel for good this time. Day 14 Moving on the The Distant Spring! A pretty straight forward approach. We both load up on Pikmin and set out to take out any baddies along the way while looking for parts. After a little time I manage to run into the Repair-Type Bolt and once I watched the video back I seen how you are really supposed to solve that without losing any yellows, but thats gaming! Meanwhile, Kai is off opening more paths and killing more enemies and discovers the Bowsprit! However we needed to clear the path better before we could get it back. Kai spent the rest of the day clearing enemies to get his part back and i went across the water and started working on a bridge. Day 15 I start out this day by finishing the bridge and Kai works on opening up more pathways. First part we find is the Massage Machine guarded by an unsuspecting Bulbear but it all feels business as usual. While they are taking the part I run back and grab a few blue Pikmin and head to a different bridge I seen where I found the Gluon Drive! Then after collecting enough Pikmin to grab it I immediately get annoyed by the fact that the blue Pikmin needed the bridge built first. While I work on that Kai works on blowing more stuff up and the we gather the Bowsprit we started on the previous day. After that we split up once more where I run into the uv lamp and Kai discovers the Intersteller Radio! Unfortunately we ran out of time before we could get his back but what a great day!
