Dec 2023. ‘It’s A Sin To Tell A Lie’ in the version of cajun-artist Cleoma Breaux, who is famous for her classic cajun album ‘Allons à Lafayette’ she did with her husband Joe Falcon. Last October, on our magical roadtrip together w/ @ferdband heading out for Blackpot Festival in Lafayette, we kicked back some on a Mississippi porch. It was in the evening when we took a shot at this tune, and it felt good and quite wonderful. From left to right is Jesse Suhl Fiske on drums, Chris Stevens on bass, Tony Sjef playing the mando, Ferd Moyse on his fiddle, Matt Morelock on jew’s harp, Thomas Olivier picking on the tele, Sander Borst strumming the bari uke and last but not the least, Moira Mirck on her fiddle and is singing the lead vocals.
