Hello to all my dear friends 👋
Welcome to my channel🌺
In this video, I visited motamedi house (also known mollabashi House) in the beautiful city of Isfahan ✨
This is part 2 of this visit 👍✅
Introduction and History of Mo’tamedi
House (Mollabashi House):
Mo’tamedi House (Mollabashi House) is one of the most famous historic houses in Isfahan. Located in the Pa Qaleh neighborhood, this beautiful mansion is renowned for its colorful stained-glass windows, intricate mirror work, elegant plaster decorations, and traditional Persian architecture. The house is considered one of the finest examples of historic residential architecture in Iran and is one of the city’s most popular cultural and tourist attractions. Today, it stands as a valuable symbol of Persian art, history, and architectural heritage.
The original structure of the house dates back to the Safavid Period. During the Zand Period and Qajar Period, new sections were added, and the building was expanded. In the Qajar era, the house became the property of Mollabashi, an astronomer and scholar in the court of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar. Since then, it has been widely known as the “Mollabashi House.” In 2001, Ahmad Motamedi purchased and restored the building. After the restoration, it also became known as the “Motamedi House.” In 2002, the house was officially registered as a national heritage site of Iran. Today, it remains one of the most beautiful and historically significant houses in Isfahan.
