From those inputs, the system produces two different reports: The Material Report provides an itemized breakdown showing what each material is being used for. The Lumberyard Report consolidates those materials into a cleaner list that can be used for pricing and ordering. Each report serves a different purpose. One helps explain the takeoff, while the other makes it easier for the lumberyard to price and supply the project without sorting through the same materials multiple times.
