River Dove walk from Hartington - Peak District (natural, no music or commentary)

This was our second walk on the day and we started late, around 5.30pm. Hartington village is quintessentially charming and well worth a visit on it's own merit, they have a fantastic cheese shop amongst other fayre. This river walk is a good alternative to the ever popular and normally busy Dovedale (same river, much further downstream). Footpaths are quieter and car parking is painless and free.
