Mashatile fined R10 000 for diamond gift

Parliament’s Ethics Committee has recommended that Deputy President Paul Mashatile be formally reprimanded and fined R10 000 for failing to declare a diamond given to his wife. Businessman and alleged diamond investment fraudster Louis Liebenberg gifted the rock.
