Use the newborn insert if the top of the panel covers your baby's face. The top of the panel should ideally reach the nape of the neck for optimum head support and clear airways. If using the insert, simply sit your baby on top of the cushion, legs should come out of the sides with knees higher than the bum and baby sitting in their natural sitting position.
