PVTA: brand new 2026 New Flyer Xcelsior artic XD60 #3403 on route 31

Join me as we take a ride on one of Pioneer Valley transit authorities newest buses. These 60 foot articulated buses were delivered over the summer to UMass Transit and run alongside their two existing 60 footers on the 30 and 31 during college semesters. As new flyer discontinued the previously purchased hybrid version of the articulated Xcelsior, PVTA unfortunately opted to go with The diesel version instead. Nevertheless, being a new bus it has the features of many of the newer 35 and 40 foot buses never before seen on a 60 footer along with the updated announcement package now on all UMass transit buses that now calls every stop along the route.
