PLEASE READ, CONTEXT: Gearbox has been withholding an update from Risk of Rain Returns that fixes many things that v1.1.0 broke, it has now been over a year and they still refuse to release the patch for whatever reason. I would have had this video idea sooner if I really thought hard enough about doing something this silly but this series will Not stop until Gearbox releases the v1.1.1 patch. These bugs in question are indeed fixed if you play with mods as the mod loader fixes it by default.. but you should not be needing to play with mods just to fix a few bugs that affect the game horrendously, it just proves that Gearbox does not care (shocking news, I know). Gearbox does not care about Returns and they never will, they realise they cannot make a profit on the game any more and any attempt to bring it back is considered a lost cause. Even when the v1.1.0 update dropped, I was near sceptical of the Return of Risk of Rain Returns; it was too good to be true. Only to be proven correct several months later when nothing else came from it, leaving Returns in the dust.. again. tl;dr: Doing a run every day till Gearbox releases the Risk of Rain Returns v1.1.1 patch that they've been holding hostage for over a year, it has been 379 days (as of making this video) since Gearbox announced that "Risk of Rain Returns' death was greatly exaggerated". There was a lot of Horde of Many teleporter events in this run for whatever reason, also almost died to an Overloading Cremator too lmao. #PatchTomorrow
