Mortuary Drape ❌ Occult Abyss Live 1993

Mortuary Drape were born in Piedmont in 1986 (between October 31 and November 1), founded by Witch, The Alchemist and Wildness Perversion, all passionate about occultism, esotericism, necromancy. They coined the term "Occult Black Metal" mixing the Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost, Death SS and the Italian Dark Sound (also the Goblins) with more sustained Thrash / Black rhythms. The original logo was created by Wildness Perversion (vocalist of the band). The cover album of "All the Witches Cance" features a true photograph (taken by Panos Tzanetatos) without any kind of edit, giving whole new perception in artworks sleeves of the Black Metal genre. The sleeve shocked more people than The Dawn Of The Black Hearts that was released the very next year. Wildness Perversion said in an interview that Panos Tzanetatos took the photograph after the end of a necromancy ritual.
