Spider Mountain Texas! We love trails with a chairlift!

While in Texas for a graduation, we took the opportunity to hit the chairlift serviced bike park called Spider mountain. Who knew there was so many hills in Texas. It was an unplanned stop and on this day there was a race event going on. We were still able to get quite a few runs in and I even got to ride the race trail before the races began. There are some amazing views and a wide variety of trails to choose from. They had rentals onsite for those wanting to check out the trails. We had our bikes with us. The only glitches for the day was they had just started a new ticketing system and had a couple of small issues that were eventually taken care of. The other was getting Tina's e-bike onto the lift. It was heavy. I put hers on the lift and they had a guy that could put mine on. The trails are located on Spider Mountain along Lake Buchanan which has the Colorado River running through it.
