Northeast Florida Randonneuring: Chiefland 400k Brevet

I'm the lantern rouge as I nurse a sore wrist on this 400k around NE Florida. Matt, Rick, Robert, and I are all granted a reprieve from the from the cold northeast weather as we enjoy the comparatively mild temperatures. Matt flies ahead and I stick with Rick and Robert until Chiefland. I meet a guy and chat for a long while, then take my time on the return legs. My chain is stretched beyond belief, which slows my progress.
