Dave Lieberth | 2026 ArtsNow Distinguished Patron Award Video

There are people who help shape a community not simply through what they accomplish, but through how deeply they care about the people and places around them. Dave Lieberth is one of those people. At our 2026 State of the Arts celebration, ArtsNow had the honor of recognizing Dave with the Distinguished Patron Award. Dave's love for Akron, its history, its people, and its cultural institutions has been a constant throughout his life. He has given so much of himself to preserving what makes our community special while helping create opportunities for future generations to experience and enjoy it. This tribute brings together family, friends, and community leaders to celebrate a man whose generosity, leadership, and genuine love for this place have touched so many lives. Thank you, Dave, for all you've given to Akron and Summit County, and for reminding us what it means to truly love a community.
