Instead of simply modifying the original stages, Star Road gives Mario a huge collection of brand-new worlds, challenges, secrets, enemies, music, textures, boss fights, and areas to explore. The game features 15 main courses along with 9 secret courses, giving players a massive amount of new content to discover. There are 130 Stars to collect in total. The main adventure contains 121 Stars, and after collecting them, additional Star Replicas become available throughout the secret areas, bringing the total to an impressive 130 Stars. Star Road keeps the classic Super Mario 64 gameplay that fans know and love while expanding it with completely new levels, unique challenges, hidden areas, custom environments, and new boss encounters.
