Why Morez Johnson Jr. Gives the Dallas Mavericks Something RARE in the NBA

Which new Dallas Mavericks player needs to hit the most for the Mavs' long-term future next to Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving? Morez Johnson Jr., Sergio De Larrea and Zaccharie Risacher are the young core the Mavs are betting on, and how they develop could shape Dallas' next NBA contender. Nick Angstadt and Isaac Harris explain why Morez Johnson Jr. is the rare, switchable modern big the Mavs need most, and why he and Cooper Flagg should share the floor a lot this season. They also break down Sergio De Larrea as a 6'6 point guard of the future next to Kyrie Irving, along with Risacher's upside and where Santi Aldama, Marcus Sasser and Tarik Biberovic fit. They also cover PJ Washington, Naji Marshall, Daniel Gafford, Dusty May's switching defense, how Mavs Team President Masai Ujiri and GM Mike Schmitz approach positional size, and comparisons to Bam Adebayo, Al Horford and Mikal Bridges. 0:00 Morez Johnson Jr. Must Hit 12:55 Sergio De Larrea's Future 21:56 Risacher & the Young Core 29:40 Aldama, Sasser & Biberovic? 📸 PHOTO: IMAGN-Images EVERYDAYER CLUB: Support the show and get Ad-Free Episodes, Discord Access, and the Text Line... 📲 https://lockedonmavericks.supercast.com/ Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms… 🎧 https://lockedonpodcasts.com/podcasts... 🎧 Apple https://buff.ly/2nE23zM 🎧 Spotify https://buff.ly/2D9kZgK 🎧 YouTube Music https://buff.ly/3LCb3gh 🎧 Overcast https://buff.ly/34r6SOi 🎧 Castbox https://buff.ly/4bAM0EL 🎧 Audible https://buff.ly/3SjqZZm Locked On NBA League-Wide: Every Team, Fantasy, Draft, WNBA & More 🎧 https://lockedonpodcasts.com/leagues/nba 📲 Follow Locked On Mavs on Twitter -   / lockedonmavs   📲 Follow Locked On Mavs on Instagram -   / lockedonmavs   📲 Follow Locked On Mavs on TikTok -   / lockedonmavericks   📲 Isaac Harris Twitter   / isaaclharris   📲 Isaac Harris Instagram   / isaaclharris   📲 Nick Angstadt Twitter   / nickvanexit   📲 Nick Angstadt TikTok   / nickvanexit   📲 Nick Angstadt Instagram   / nickvanexit   📢 Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! | Offers from our sponsors: lockedonpodcasts.com/offers Indeed Listeners of this show get a $75 Sponsored Job Credit to help give your job the premium placement it deserves at http://Indeed.com/podcast.
