Teena Marie - The Mackin' Game (1998 version) | Remastered

Black Rain is a cancelled album by American R&B/funk multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Teena Marie. The album was recorded in 1998 and she began shopping it around in 1999. The promo copies were widely bootlegged, prompting cancellation of the album as various CD-R and cassette configurations began to leak. Even though the album (and it's numerous configurations) was scrapped, many of its tracks made their way onto Teena's later albums: La Doña, Sapphire, Congo Square, and the posthumous release Beautiful. It has today become a rare collector's item for fans, and, as such, finding copies of it online is very difficult. As mentioned before, there are also several configurations that were bootlegged that feature different arrangements and entirely new tracks.
