And yes… it was through them that I first heard of a country called South Korea. I always thought, if you come just for K-pop, the road will be even harder. But to be honest… at the very beginning, there was still SS501. They were my first reason. As I got to know Korea more, other reasons were added. A semester full of struggles and beauties has already passed, and the second one is on its way. And somewhere in the middle of this process… being able to attend their concert still feels incredibly special. So… thank you, sis, for introducing me to 501, for giving me the reason behind all my reasons. ❤️ And to 501… thank you. For being the reason I can say, “This is how happy I am.” For existing so I could know you, and for bringing this feeling back to life for me after all these years. They were the first K-pop group I ever discovered — and honestly, the reason I first learned about South Korea at all.
