In 1941, Irving Berlin wrote a song called “When That Man Is Dead and Gone” about Hitler. It’s a song of hope that someday that evil man will be dead and gone. The song was basically forgotten for decades - recorded by only a handful of artists, including Al Bowlly who was killed in a Nazi airstrike only 2 weeks after recording it. We’ve been performing it as our closer for over a decade. Suddenly, this year, our version went viral - with over 16 million views 🤯🙀! Here's a recent performance we did of the song in the Historic Opera House in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The audience that night was incredible!
