Our Town Planted Trees

Our Town Planted Trees is a locally made film that documents the ambitious project undertaken by The Woodland Trust and Wellington Town Council in winter 2024/25. Over 3000 trees were planted in the 66-acre area of land known at the Green Corridor in a huge community effort that was undertaken almost entirely by volunteers. This film documents the planting process and includes interviews from organisers and participants including Rosie from the Woodland Trust and Gideon Amos MP for Taunton and Wellington. Wellington Town Council commissioned Reflexeye to create this film and it was shown at Wellington Film Festival in October 2025.
