The complete DaVinci Resolve 21 course for beginners — all 8 pages, from first launch to final export, in 90 minutes.
This is the entire workflow in one video. We start where most tutorials don't: downloading Resolve and setting up your project correctly, because that's where almost every beginner problem actually begins. Then we go page by page — Media, Cut, Edit, Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Deliver — and finish with the brand new Photo page, added in Resolve 21.
No plugins. No 40-part playlist. If you've been putting off learning Resolve because it looked too big, this is the video that makes it small.

🖥 FREE VERSION OR STUDIO?
The free version of DaVinci Resolve 21 covers almost everything in this course. A handful of tools shown are Studio-only — most are flagged as they come up, and if you're ever unsure about a specific feature, Blackmagic's comparison page on their site is the definitive list.
You'll need Windows, macOS or Linux. No previous editing experience required.
📌 A NOTE ON VERSIONS
Resolve 21 went stable in June 2026 and introduced the Photo page as an eighth page in the workflow. If you're coming from Resolve 18, 19 or 20, most of this course still applies — the interface has changed less than the version numbers suggest.
