(Are they crazy?) 🇳🇴🇩🇰🇮🇸 I don't know about you, but to me, the level of everyday trust in Norway, Denmark, and Iceland feels almost unreal. While people in places like New York City or Brooklyn have to guard their bags from cafe pickpockets and worry about locked cars getting broken into, life in the Nordics runs on a completely different mindset. From locals leaving their MacBooks and phones unattended on cafe tables in Denmark, to parents letting babies nap outside in strollers, 8-year-olds biking to school alone, and unstaffed roadside honesty boxes in Iceland, I'm looking at how the Scandinavian high-trust society actually works in real life.
