In Part 10 of our Bible Study on the Life of Jesus Christ, we continue examining the public ministry of Jesus, His miracles, His parables, His teaching in the synagogues, His authority over sickness and nature, and the purpose of His mission on earth. The study looks at the different kinds of miracles performed by Jesus. These include healings, miracles demonstrating His authority over nature, and His authority over death. Through these mighty works, Jesus revealed His divine authority and strengthened the faith of those who followed Him. We also consider the parables of Jesus. Jesus frequently used simple stories and illustrations to communicate profound spiritual truths and the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. Many of these parables are recorded in Matthew, Mark, and Luke and deal with important subjects such as the Kingdom of God, judgment, human responsibility, and eternal life. The study then considers Jesus’ teaching ministry in the Jewish synagogues. Jesus travelled throughout Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, healing sickness, and ministering to the people. Special attention is given to Jesus’ visit to the synagogue at Nazareth, where He read from the prophet Isaiah and publicly declared the purpose of His ministry. His teaching carried authority and revealed the nature of the work He had come to accomplish. The message also examines Jesus healing on the Sabbath and the conflict that arose because of different interpretations of Sabbath observance. Jesus demonstrated that doing good and showing mercy were consistent with the true purpose of God’s commandment. The study then moves to the feeding of the five thousand. A great multitude followed Jesus and witnessed His miraculous provision. After seeing the miracle, the people wanted to take Jesus by force and make Him king. Jesus withdrew because His mission was not to establish an earthly political kingdom. Jesus Christ came with a much greater purpose: to fulfil the will of the Father and accomplish God’s work of salvation. #BibleStudy #LifeOfJesusChrist #MiraclesOfJesus #ParablesOfJesus #MalayalamBibleStudy
