Out on the white Specialized Turbo Vado SL for a spontaneous 42-mile autumn ride across the Cheshire countryside and Peak District fringes! With the Scott Addict RC currently in at Bikes 'n' Gear in Knutsford for a warranty rear wheel rebuild, I took out the Vado SL equipped with the SL 160 Range Extender.
In this video, I break down how the Specialized SL dual-battery system manages power, stop off in Macclesfield for coffee and lunch, tackle the climbs around Bosley Cloud, hit 43 mph on a fast descent, test out the BleeqUp smart sports camera glasses, ride past Jodrell Bank, and attempt to rescue a stranded cyclist with a flat tire!
