In this video, I react to a Reddit post from r/deadbydaylight titled “Imagine telling this game's players 3 years ago that in 2026, BHVR would literally require killers to run Lightborn.” The post jokes that Lightborn is now a mandatory perk for Killers, claiming that any Killer who doesn't run Lightborn should be kicked from the match by Survivors, parodying the frustration surrounding the recent flashlight issues in Dead by Daylight. I discuss the Reddit post, the community's reaction, and the fact that it took around a week for the flashlight-related issues to be killswitched. We also look at comments comparing this situation to previous Dead by Daylight bugs and killswitches, particularly the perception that Killer bugs and issues have sometimes been addressed much faster than Survivor-related problems.
