Monroe has been bolstered by one of the top defenses in North Carolina 2AA football and this game was no different as they stopped a strong East Lincoln offense. Monroe's WR Jaylan Barbour had a big game (5 catches for 114 yds and one TD) including an acrobatic, one-handed grab midway thru the game. Barbour, a senior, has verbally committed to Wake Forest.
